Is Uber Elite available in Wellington?

Not yet. As of September 2026, Uber lists Uber Elite in Los Angeles and San Francisco, by invitation, with New York next (Uber Technologies, 2026). Wellington is not on that list.

Uber describes Elite as reservation-only, with commercially licensed chauffeurs, luxury vehicles under three years old, stated waiting allowances and 24/7 phone support (Uber Technologies, n.d., 2026). That is a fair description of what a chauffeur service should be.

Quo does that in Wellington today, without an invitation. Waiting is included for 15 minutes at a normal pickup and 60 minutes after your flight actually lands, and time lost to a late flight is never billed. The fare is set before the car moves, a person confirms every ride, and you can ask for the chauffeur who drove you last time.

It also meets private flights at the FBO, not only the terminal curb, and the whole booking works in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and French.
