Where do Uber, Lyft and taxis pick up at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport?

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood says ride-app pickups are in designated areas on the lower level, between Terminals 1 and 2, and for Terminals 3 and 4 on the first floor of the southern part of the Palm Garage, across a pedestrian crosswalk (Broward County Aviation Department, n.d.). Taxis dispatch from a podium at each of the four terminals, and limousine, sedan and van pickups are in designated areas on the lower-level curbside, with a Ground Transportation Booth in baggage claim for questions.

The airport publishes estimate tables for taxi and luxury-sedan trips to the cruise ports and calls them estimates that may vary. Its own pages give two different taxi figures for PortMiami, so read any single number as a range; both are on the cruise ports page. It also says the airport and transportation providers cannot provide child safety seats of any type.

A pre-arranged car means you are not working out which zone belongs to your terminal. Give the desk your flight number, the pickup is tracked from the aircraft, and the captain meets you inside the terminal.
