Duty of care, documented.

For companies that owe their people a duty of care on the road. This is what stands behind a Quo ride, written so your travel-risk or security team can check it.

Who drives

  • Every chauffeur on our roster has a licence, insurance and vehicle registration on file with an expiry date, and dispatch refuses to assign a chauffeur whose document has lapsed.
  • Affiliate operators are cleared only with commercial auto and general liability certificates in date, Quo named as additional insured on both policies, and a signed affiliate agreement. A missing certificate blocks the same as an expired one.
  • A name that is not on the roster cannot be put on a ride unless a cleared operator is already assigned to it.
  • Background check dates are recorded. Each chauffeur's signature on our written confidentiality standard is recorded with its date, and dispatch can be set to refuse any chauffeur who has not signed.

Before the ride

  • Readiness checks run 24 hours, 4 hours and 1 hour before pickup, escalating if a ride is unassigned, if a document has lapsed, or if the vehicle cannot seat the party and their bags.
  • Airline flights are tracked, so the desk sees the actual arrival, not the schedule.

While it is moving

  • Each ride has a private live tracking link the traveller can share.
  • A one-tap alert from the traveller or the chauffeur reaches the concierge desk, and, when the ride is on your account, your named security contact by email.
  • Your travel or security team can have a private, read-only board of the rides on your account that are today or upcoming, with each ride's status and tracking link. The link can be revoked and reissued at any time.

Afterwards

  • Incidents are filed in a record that is added to and never edited, including when the insurer was notified.
  • Payment and security actions are written to an audit log.
  • Booking data is backed up nightly. The desk is reached by named staff sign-in, with passkeys available as a second factor.
  • Monthly statements list every ride with an estimated CO₂e figure and the method behind it.

These controls are meant to support an employer's travel risk management programme, including one built on ISO 31030. ISO 31030 is guidance rather than a certification, and Quo does not claim to be certified against it.
