Which terminal does Azamara use in Florida, and where does the car drop you?
Azamara's own Miami port document puts its Quest and Journey sailings of December 2026 to March 2027 at PortMiami's Terminal J, 1120 Caribbean Way, which the port's own list assigns to no line; its Fort Lauderdale document gives Port Everglades' address and garages, and its FAQ says embarkation runs from 2 p.m. (Azamara, n.d.; PortMiami, n.d.).
At PortMiami: PortMiami's own page assigns Azamara no terminal: it names no line for the terminals the line describes (PortMiami, n.d.). Azamara's Miami port document lists Terminal J, 1120 Caribbean Way, for the Quest sailings of December 17 and 18, 2026 and the Journey sailings of January 14 and March 29, 2027, and says assigned terminals can be changed by the port at any time. It gives the port's address as 1015 North America Way and says long-term parking is in the covered garage across from Terminals F, G and J. (Azamara, n.d.).
At Port Everglades: Port Everglades's own page assigns Azamara no terminal: it names no line for the terminals the line describes (Port Everglades, n.d.). Its Fort Lauderdale document gives Port Everglades as 1850 Eller Drive, says the port takes no parking reservations or prepayment, that the Heron garage serves Terminals 2 and 4 and the Palm garage Terminals 19, 21, 25, 26 and 29, and that a shuttle runs between Terminal 29 and the Palm garage. (Azamara, n.d.).
Azamara's FAQ says embarkation begins at 2 p.m. local time and runs until 90 minutes before departure, and its boarding page says guests must be on board at least 90 minutes before the scheduled departure. It says porters are generally available at the airport and the pier from curbside to the ship, and that for its own air-and-sea transfers at Miami and Fort Lauderdale, flights must land by 2 p.m. and leave no earlier than 11 a.m. (Azamara, n.d.).
Not on the pages I read: which Port Everglades terminal its ships use; a ride-share, taxi or private-car drop-off point; parking rates. A terminal is the cruise line's to change, and a port's page and a line's page do not always agree on a street name or a rate, so the desk checks your cruise documents against both the day before the car is sent.
What the car does: give the desk the ship, the sailing date and the flight, and the car is sent to the terminal address your documents name, planned against the line's own check-in deadline rather than the drive. The fare is agreed before the car moves, the captain watches the flight, and the pickup after the cruise is at the same terminal.
Azamara's Florida ports, as the ports assign them
| Port | Terminal, per the port | Address, per the port |
|---|---|---|
| PortMiami | No line named by the port | 10 terminals listed; your documents name yours |
| Port Everglades | No line named by the port | 8 terminals listed; your documents name yours |
The terminal column is the port's own assignment, not the line's; what the line itself says about each port is in the text above, read November 2, 2026. A port that names no line for a terminal is shown as such, and your cruise documents win over this table.
