Florida airport taxis and ride apps: what each airport says

Every airport publishes some of what an arriving passenger needs and leaves some out. This page records what each airport's own pages say about taxis, ride apps and pre-arranged cars, with the page each fact came from, and lists what they do not say. Where a figure is an airport's estimate, it is called that.

Read from the airports' own pages on October 18, 2026; the Palm Beach airport's page was read again on November 1, 2026 under its new name. An airport's page wins over this one on the day.

Miami International Airport · MIA

Not on the pages I read: where a chauffeured car meets you; a rule on meeting passengers inside the terminal; whether ride-app pickup is also on the departures level (an older airport page says so; the current ground-transportation page does not).

What the five pages have in common

Every airport puts its taxis and ride apps outside baggage claim on the arrivals level, each names the zone differently, and none of them says where a pre-arranged car meets you, because that is between you and the company you booked. With us the captain meets you inside the terminal, with your name, the flight tracked, and the fare agreed before you land. The metered rates Miami-Dade publishes are worked through on the Miami airport taxi fares page; the airports’ estimates to the cruise ports are on the cruise ports page.

When you would rather it was settled before you land.

One captain and one fare agreed before the car moves, shown before you book.
