Which terminal does Princess Cruises use in Florida, and where does the car drop you?

How we source facts

Princess Cruises' own pages say its Fort Lauderdale sailings leave from Port Everglades, 1850 Eller Drive, and that guests are told which pier; the port's text assigns Princess no terminal, though an image on its Terminal 2 page carries the line's name; at Port Canaveral Princess prints no address (Princess Cruises, n.d.; Port Everglades, n.d.).

At Port Everglades: Port Everglades's own page assigns Princess Cruises no terminal: it names no line for the terminals the line describes (Port Everglades, n.d.). Princess's Fort Lauderdale page says its cruises depart from Port Everglades at 1850 Eller Drive, that guests are notified which pier their cruise docks at, and that the port is reached by rideshare, shuttle or Brightline; it names no drop-off point. (Princess Cruises, n.d.).

At Port Canaveral: Port Canaveral's own page assigns Princess Cruises no terminal: it names no line for the terminals the line describes (Port Canaveral, n.d.). Its Port Canaveral page says the cruise docks at the cruise terminal in Cape Canaveral, prints no street address, and says guests get around by Uber, Lyft, a shuttle, a limousine or a rental car. (Princess Cruises, n.d.).

Princess's pre-cruise FAQ recommends arriving at the terminal within the assigned check-in window, says boarding typically begins several hours before departure and that check-in closes before departure under port and security rules, and strongly recommends completing OceanReady in advance. It says luggage tags are collected at the terminal and to allow extra time for traffic, parking and security screening. (Princess Cruises, n.d.).

Not on the pages I read: a terminal name at either port; a clock time for check-in or boarding; porters, parking rates or a drop-off point. A terminal is the cruise line's to change, and a port's page and a line's page do not always agree on a street name or a rate, so the desk checks your cruise documents against both the day before the car is sent.

What the car does: give the desk the ship, the sailing date and the flight, and the car is sent to the terminal address your documents name, planned against the line's own check-in deadline rather than the drive. The fare is agreed before the car moves, the captain watches the flight, and the pickup after the cruise is at the same terminal.

Princess Cruises's Florida ports, as the ports assign them

For each Florida port Princess Cruises names, the terminal the port's own page assigns the line and that terminal's address, read November 1, 2026
PortTerminal, per the portAddress, per the port
Port EvergladesNo line named by the port8 terminals listed; your documents name yours
Port CanaveralNo line named by the port7 terminals listed; your documents name yours

The terminal column is the port's own assignment, not the line's; what the line itself says about each port is in the text above, read November 2, 2026. A port that names no line for a terminal is shown as such, and your cruise documents win over this table.
