Is there a wheelchair-accessible car, and does it cost more?

How we source facts

Yes. Ask for an accessible vehicle, a ramp or lift, or extra time when you book, and it is priced the same as the closest vehicle class, with no fee for a service animal or help with a folding wheelchair; where we cannot send the right vehicle ourselves we say so plainly and help you find one.

Ask for one when you book, in the booking form's special requests or by phone, and say what you need: an accessible vehicle, a ramp or lift, extra time at pickup, or help with a mobility aid. Where we cannot provide the right vehicle ourselves, we tell you plainly and help you find one that can.

It never costs extra. There is no fee for a service animal, for help with a folding wheelchair, or for an accessible vehicle, which is priced the same as the closest vehicle class. The fare is agreed before the car moves, like any other.

This is a car service, not medical transport: captains help with the door, the bags and the time it takes, and cannot provide physical or medical assistance. For a hospital visit the car is booked by the hour so it waits, and nobody asks what the appointment is for.
