Where does the car drop you at Deering Estate in Palmetto Bay, for a wedding or an event?

How we source facts

At the Deering Estate, 16701 SW 72 Avenue in Palmetto Bay, the car turns in off SW 168th Street just east of Old Cutler Road to the free Visitor Center lot, about half a block on the right; the estate's page says evening events begin after it closes at 5 p.m. and guests leave by 11:30 p.m. (Deering Estate, n.d.).

Deering Estate is at 16701 SW 72 Avenue, Palmetto Bay, FL 33157. The plan-your-visit page puts the estate just east of Old Cutler Road and SW 168 Street, says parking is free, and on the route from I-95 places the Visitor Center lot about half a block on the right after crossing Old Cutler Road on SW 168th Street. Gates are open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with no admission after 4 p.m., arrival by watercraft is prohibited, and the page says the county's free on-demand FreeBee service drops near the Main Gate. The weddings page says evening events may begin immediately after the estate closes at 5 p.m. and that all guests must leave by 11:30 p.m.; the Stone House has been closed to the public since April 28, 2025. (Deering Estate, n.d.).

Not on the pages I read: event-guest parking or a drop-off point; valet; a ride-share pick-up zone; an estate shuttle. Venues set event-day rules in the rental contract, so the planner's timeline wins over this page, and the desk confirms the door and the pickup point with the planner the week of the event.

What the car does: for a wedding party it is several cars on one booking, timed to the planner's sheet, with the captains dropping at the point the venue names and waiting where the venue allows; for guests it is one booking by the hour so the car is there when the evening ends, on a fare agreed before the day. From anywhere in Miami, or straight from MIA for guests flying in.
