How do I get to Moffitt Cancer Center, Magnolia Campus in Tampa, and where does the car drop you off?

How we source facts

At Moffitt's Magnolia campus, 12902 USF Magnolia Drive, the car drops you at one of three complimentary valets the center's page names: Red at the main hospital entrance, Gold at the Muriel Rothman Building (clinic) entrance on the north motor court, and Blue in the South Parking Garage (Moffitt Cancer Center, n.d.).

Moffitt Cancer Center, Magnolia Campus is at 12902 USF Magnolia Drive, Tampa, FL 33612. The campus page says complimentary valet is available for all patients and visitors at the main campus, at the corner of Magnolia and West Holly on the University of South Florida campus. Red Valet is at the main hospital entrance, Monday to Friday 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Gold Valet serves the Muriel Rothman Building (clinic) entrance and the Stabile Research Building on the north side motor court, weekdays 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and weekends 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Blue Valet is in the South Parking Garage, weekdays 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Self-parking is on the third and fourth floors of the Gold Garage, on the first and second floors of the Blue Garage, and in two surface lots at the main entrance that fill quickly. Visiting hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, and a campus renovation is changing access temporarily, so the page's current notice wins on the day. (Moffitt Cancer Center, n.d.).

Not on the page I read: self-parking fees; an emergency entrance (Moffitt is a cancer center, not an emergency hospital). Hospitals move entrances for construction and change valet hours without notice, so the page's own words are checked by a daily watch, and the desk confirms the door with you the morning of the ride.

What the car does: the captain drops you at the entrance or valet named above, not in the car park, and nobody asks what the appointment is for. Book by the hour and the car waits through the appointment, however long it runs; for a course of visits the same captain comes whenever the schedule allows. From anywhere in Tampa, or straight from TPA for someone flying in to be seen, on a fare agreed before the car moves. This is a car service, not medical transport: captains help with the door and the bags, and cannot give physical or medical assistance.

Moffitt Cancer Center, Magnolia Campus has an office for patients from abroad: its "International Patient Services" page is listed with the sources below (Moffitt Cancer Center, n.d.).
