Where you are dropped off
Benchmark International Arena
The arena where the Tampa Bay Lightning play was renamed Benchmark International Arena in August 2025; it was Amalie Arena before that (FOX 13 Tampa Bay, 2025). Whichever name a ticket, a map or a ride app uses, it is the same building.
The arena's own directions page puts rideshare drop-off, before an event, in its 15-minute circle just east of the intersection of Morgan Street and Channelside Drive. After an event, rideshare pickup is at four signed corners: Jefferson Street and Eunice Street, Nebraska Avenue and Eunice Street, Nebraska Avenue and Cumberland Avenue, and Water Street and Cumberland Avenue, where the city places "Rider Pick Up" signs before the end of each event. The same page lists the TECO Line Streetcar and the Pirate Water Taxi among the ways to arrive, and a free Alert Cab ride, through Guest Services at Section 101, for a guest who should not drive (Benchmark International Arena, n.d.). The arena is at 401 Channelside Drive, Tampa, Florida 33602. The page shows no date, so check the arena's website on the day.
